About The Artist

Daniel likes to make art or cartoons when he's happy because it makes him think of good thoughts. He usually uses markers and paint to create his art and he loves bright colors because they make him happy. The only time Daniel uses darker colors is when he draws the night sky, which makes him feel peaceful.

While Daniel prefers to create art when he is happy, he has used art in the past to help him through difficult times. He remembers painting a picture after his Grandma died. "I though she would really like the picture and that helped me," he reflected. "Each color represented a sign of health and that made me feel that my Grandma was near."

Daniel recalls some of the important things that have happened in his life so far. "I graduated 5th grade, which was huge. Before that I got to give 2 speeches at the Light the Night walk - one when I was in 2nd grade and one when I was in 3rd. I passed my piano exams and got my trophy." Daniel says, "I want people to know that I am a nice person who is funny and awesome! The one thing I don't like is laughing at my own jokes."

An average day for Daniel begins when he wakes up and gets dressed for school. He eats breakfast, goes to orchestra rehearsal, and then goes to school. After school, Daniel comes home, does his homework, takes a shower, eats dinner, and then goes to bed.
