Cory Nieves Age 5 About The Artist Cory likes to create art when he's happy, sad, mad, or sick. His favorite materials to use are crayons, markers, letters, and paint, and his favorite color to use is black. Cory says, about creating art, "When I'm sick it makes me feel like I can fly out of the hospital. It makes my mind go into my picture or I draw how I'm feeling." Some of the important things that have happened in Cory's life so far are when he and his mom got their own apartment and that he did not die from being sick. Cory's mom and grandma are also very important to him. Cory wants people to know that, "I'm funny and silly. I love to act, sing, ask questions, and have fun with my mommy."
