Max says, "I am a smart, funny, kind person who likes to have fun. I am so happy to be a part of ArtWorks." Some of the important things that have happened to Max in his life are when he had back surgery when he was 12 on May 2, 2005 at NYU, and when he had a bar mitzvah when he was 13 on October 1, 2005.
He says that he "feels lucky to not have had many difficult times."
Max reflected on his love of art. "I like doing art for fun...whenever I have free time and feel like expressing myself," he says. "I'd rather do art when I am happy than when I am feeling sad. I like using bright colors and using a computer to make my art."
