“I enjoy photography the most when I’m away on vacation. There is just so much that I feel needs to be documented. I love using the darkroom for conventional photography and I like to see the results of my hard work.
“This photograph was taken on Anna Maria Island on the gulf coast of Florida. The gate in this picture stood out to me. I shot my favorite piece in the Bahamas of a round doorway in a little alley and this was somewhat reminiscent. Doorways are symbolic to me.”
